University of Saskatchewan cross country athletes Courtney Hufsmith and Stephane Gerard had the top finishes for the Huskies at the annual Cougar Trot Saturday in Regina.
Hufsmith finished the six-kilometre race in a time of 21:40.55 to finish first, while Gerard finished the men's eight-kilometre race in 28:04.69 to finish ninth.

The Huskies will race for the lone time at home this season on September 30 in the U of S Sled Dog Open.
