With the win, the Huskies improve to 2-1 on the season, while the WolfPack remain winless at 0-3.

The nursing student from Saskatoon scored 20 minutes apart in the first half of action. The first coming in the 19th minute after receiving a cross from Canada West Female First Star of the Week Megan Ripplinger. Ripplinger displayed great hustle to the ball as she kept it in play when it looked as if possession was about to go the other way with the WolfPack.

The WolfPack came close to an equalizer in the 30th minute as they snuck one past Huskie goalkeeper Jadyn Steinhauer, but the play was deemed offside.

In the 39th minute, Eggum was taken down in the box resulting in a penalty kick. She made no mistake, smashing the ball up and over the sprawling WolfPack keeper Danielle Robertson.

Coming out of the half, the Huskie kept the pressure on as they controlled possession for the good majority of Saturday afternoons contest.

First year mid-fielder Jacqeuline Altrogge got her first goal as a Huskie in the 59th minute. Altrogge found herself in a race to the ball with the WolfPack keeper Robertson. Robertson rushed out of the box to play the ball in a clearance attempt. Altrogge won the foot race and gave the Huskies a three goal cushion the rest of the way.

After the final whistle blew, the Huskies registered 11 shots on goal while the WolfPack had just two. The WolfPack didn't earn a corner kick opportunity, while the Huskies had 10.

The Huskies are back on the pitch tomorrow at 12 P.M at PotashCorp Park in Saskatoon vs the UBC Okanagan Heat. While the WolfPack travel to Regina to take on the Cougars.
