Huskie Athlete of the Week (October 24, 2016):

Fourth-year midfielder Rebecca Weckworth helped the Huskies finish the Canada West women's soccer season with two wins on a road trip in B.C. on the weekend.

The Nutrition student from Saskatchewan recorded both goals in a 2-0 win over the UBC Okanagan Heat on Saturday. She scored in the 49th and 66th minutes. She had four shots on goal in 81 minutes. A day later, in a 2-0 win over the Thompson Rivers WolfPack, Weckworth had one shot on goal in 45 minutes.

Weckworth and the Huskies will host a Canada West quarter-final on October 29th against provincial rival the Regina Cougars. Kickoff is 12 p.m. on Field 7 in PotashCorp Park.
