  1. With six matches left, the Huskies are tied for one of eight playoff spots. Four points separate five teams vying for the final two playoff spots.

  2. The Huskies are 10-2 all-time versus the Heat, with both losses coming at Okanagan.

  3. Saskatchewan's 15.9 points per set is the third-highest mark in the conference, while they average 1.5 more points per set at home as opposed to the road.

  4. After a slow start to the year averaging 13.5 points a set throughout the month of October, the Huskies have averaged each month since.

Scouting UBC Okanagan Heat

  • The Heat have been the best in the conference in terms of digs per set with 9.76. However, they sit third in ball handling errors with 14.

  • The Heat are a full point and a half better on the road as opposed to at home, while their 12.5 points per set so far in January is a few points below the 15.7 and 15.4 marks achieved in December and November, respectively.  

  • Fifth-year Lars Bornemann is averaging 3.95 kills per set, fourth-highest in the conference.
