Men's volleyball loses in straight sets

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Thompson Rivers University's Tim Dobbert led the WolfPack to a straight sets (25-23, 25-22, 25-21) win over the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Friday night with a match-high 20 kills.

The fourth-year outside hitter from Germany finished the night with a .630 hitting percentage, two service aces, two digs and four block assists. Joshua Mullaney added another seven kills for the WolfPack, while Landon Curried led TRU in digs with eight.

Dylan Mortensen led the Huskies in the loss with 10 kills, while Colin Fraser added another seven. CJ Gavlas recorded a team-high seven digs.

With the win, TRU improves to 6-11. Saskatchewan drops to 7-10 and snaps a five game winning streak.
