FREDERICTON, N.B. –  University of Alberta's Trevor Cox scored 3:15 into overtime to complete the Golden Bears 3-2 comeback win over the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Saturday in a University Cup semifinal.

The Golden Bears were down 2-0 entering the final 20 minutes of the game. The No. 2 seeded Canada West champion scored three unanswered goals for the win including two power play goals at 6:41 and 15:17 in the third period.

Cox's shot from the right faceoff circle beat Saskatchewan netminder Taran Kozun on the right side between his blocker and body.

With the win, the Golden Bears advance to the University Cup final for the 21st time in history.

Parker Thomas opened the scoring for the Huskies at 12:13 in the first period on a scramble in front of the net. Alberta netminder Zach Sawchenko couldn't freeze the puck among the pile of players in front of the net.
