University of Saskatchewan goaltender Jordon Cooke stopped 34 shots to lead the Huskies to a 6-0 shutout win over the University of Manitoba Bisons Saturday night at Wayne Fleming Arena.

The two-time U SPORTS Goaltender of the Year made 10 saves in the first, 15 in the second and nine in the third period. Dasan Sydora and Byron Spriggs combined to make 40 saves for the Bisons at the other end of the ice.

With the road win, Saskatchewan improves to 5-0-1, while Manitoba drops to 2-4-0. A night earlier, the Bisons won 4-3 in overtime.

Saskatchewan continued to flex its high-powered offence with five different Huskies scoring the six goals in the game and six different players tallied two points in the win.

Michael Sofillas tallied the game's first at 10:13 in the first period, followed by Parker Thomas' first of the game at 14:14. Jesse Forsberg tallied Saskatchewan's third of the game at 6:40 in the second frame and Canada West leading scorer Josh Roach added his team's fourth goal at 17:44. The Huskies remain on the road to meet the Calgary Dinos next weekend, while the Bisons host the Mount Royal Cougars.
